MINISTER OF SPORTS OFFICIATES AT UNZA SPORTS DAY By Busiku UNZA students during aerobics at UNZA : Picture by Robert Sintufya Minister of Sports, Emmanuel Mulenga has advised University of Zambia (UNZA) students to always spare time for physical exercises to reduce the risk of suffering from non-communicable diseases. Mulenga encouraged all students to participate in physical exercises regularly in order for them to keep fit and avoid developing various health complications that might disturb their academic life in the near future. “I am here to remind you that it is very important to exercise every morning due to the increase of non-communicable diseases that you can easily sweat off so that you can concentrate on your studies and achieve your objectives,” he said. WALLAH CALLS FOR PEACEFUL UNZASU CAMPAIGNS    By Robby  University of Zambia Student Union (UNZASU) President Warran Hamusunga during a briefing in NELT at UNZA: Picture by Robert Sintufya University of Zambia Students Union president has urged the student populace to be peaceful in the on-going campaigns for the forthcoming UNZASU elections. Warran Hamusunga said students should desist from acts of violence so as to set an example that they are from the highest learning institution in the country. This call comes in the wake of  an incident in which a room of one of the UNZASU aspiring candidate was almost set ablaze.  Hamusunga said it is unacceptable that students can be involved into acts of violence over democratic elections.
