MUTALE SCOOPS Mr. ARTS NIGHT AWARD






                                                                                                                     A 21-year-old Media and Communication Studies student at the University of Zambia (UNZA) has won the overall Mr. Arts Night award.

Emmanuel Mutale, a third year of student, beat five other contestants to scoop the title of Mr. Arts Night following an event which was held at the UNZA Chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2019.  

Mutale, whose home is in Kabwe, participated in three categories namely sports, office and dinner modeling and emerged as an overall winner.

For the sports category Mutale wore a white kimono while for the office, he was clad in an orange suit with a white shirt and he was in a brown suit with a black polo-neck for the dinner category.  

He said he was honoured to win the Mr. Arts Night and describes the event as exciting.  

Mutale was selected by the Veterinary Hostels Catholic Christian Community to be their representative at the Mr. Arts Night.

Christian communities from different hostels in campus also chose representatives for the event.

“My future plans are to become a professional sports model and I want to research more on the fitness model,” he said.

The University of  Zambia Student's  Union (UNZASU) President Warran Hamusunga who was also present at the event, closed the night by krumping the stage with extra ordinary dance moves.
